Caravan or Campervan Sites
The Pine Rivers Showgrounds are a privately owned showgrounds, conveniently located within walking distance to Lawnton Train Station allowing easy access to and from Brisbane, right through to Caboolture.
A number of coffee shops, gyms and stores are located nearby, including Bunnings, Super Cheap and the Lawnton Aquatic Centre which is right next door.
Down the road in Brendale you will find a number of caravan, camping and automotive businesses, making the showgrounds the ideal location for you to stay if you’re travelling down to attend an appointment with one of them.

Booking Fees
- Powered Site $35 per night
- Non-Pwered site $25 per night
- Pricing is for 2 adults per site, each additional person over the age of 12 is an additional $5
Check In Information
- Check-in’s between 12 noon – 4.30 pm on Monday to Friday. On Saturdays check-in is open 12 noon until 2.30pm.
- Please note that an early check in fee will apply if you arrive before 12 noon.
- No after hours check-in.
- No Check-in’s on Sundays or Public Holidays.
- You will be asked to show ID on check in.
- You will need to pay a $50 refundable key deposit on arrival.
Check out Information
- Check out is before 11am.
- If you are leaving before our office opening hours, or on a Sunday or public holiday, you will need to leave your key in the key return box
- If you are using the key deposit box to return your key, you will have to provide your bank details so we can send you back your refundable key deposit
- Once you check out you can not return for a period of 21 days.
General rules and information
Any travellers to the showgrounds are required to obide by the full rules and regulations of the Showgrounds. Below is a simplified overview of key information and frequestly asked questions.
General Rules
- Soft Floor Campers are only allowed to stay for 7 nights.
- All other vans have a maximum stay of 28 days. You are required to be absent from the grounds for 21 days before returning.
- No large mats or tarps are allowed. Only a 1m x 1m mat may be placed by your van.
- No Tents or Swags are permitted on the grounds.
- No Van, Boat or Car washing permitted on site.
- Only two vehicles are allowed to be parked on your allocated site, providing they fit.
- Caravanners are not permitted to undertake repairs, maintenance or modifications on their caravans while staying.
- We have an a 1 month closure period each year around our annual show. This occurs 17th July – 17th August 2026.
- We allow pets on the grounds. Dogs must be kept on a lead. Birds must be disclosed on check-in.
- We have two dump points on site for you to be able to empty toilet waste into.
- Sullage hoses must be moved daily. Any waster other then water is to be collected.
- Showgrounds gates are closed each night. Your key will give you access to let yourself out at night.
- We have a community garden and camp kitchen available for use.
- If you do not bring your key out with you and return after the gate is closed, you need to call the on-site caretaker. A $25 call out fee will apply.
